Question about ActiveBackup task schedule vs LightsOut schedule

I had to set a schedule for my ActiveBackup task in order for Lights Out to run it.
But now I see error messages in the backup log saying that it can't run because another backup is running.
It's benign since I do get a backup, but the errors in the logs bother me.

Should I just schedule LightsOut to turn the NAS on and shut it off and let the NAS run the backup task?
Will LightsOut know when the backup is done if I do that?
