WHS 2011 Installation schlägt fehl, was nun?

Hallo!

Ich versuche gerade den WHS 2011 64Bit von der DVD auf eine 32GB SSD zu installieren. Eine cfg.ini mit dem Inhalt

[WinPE]
InstallSKU=SERVERHOMEPREMIUM
ConfigDisk=1
CheckReqs=0
WindowsPartitionSize=MAX

habe ich auf einem am USB des Systems angesteckten Stick bereitgestellt.
Dennoch findet die Installationsroutine die cfg.ini scheinbar nicht und bricht gleich nach dem ersten Fenster (das mit der Übersicht aller Laufwerke) ab.
Was kann ich noch tun um WHS 2011 trotzdem noch zu installieren. !!!Die INI-Daten ist auch wirklich als INI gespeichert und nicht als cfg.ini.txt!!!

Hallo,

ging es garnicht oder hat es einmal geklappt? Das Setup ergänzt den Eintrag "Processed=true" was zur Folge hat, dass bei einem erneuten booten über das Medium die cfg.ini ignoriert wird.
(Sonst befände sich der PC in einer ewigen formtatier und installier Schleife wenn die Bootoption auf dem Medium eingestellt bleibt)

Willst du also ein zweites mal über den Stick installieren musst du erst die Proccessed=true Zeile löschen.

Versuch auch mal mehrere male über den Stick zu starten, ich hatte bei mir auch den Eindruck dass nicht immer die cfg.ini berücksichtigt wurde (obwohl obiger Eintrag entfernt).

Es ging bis jetzt gar nicht.
Egal was ich versuche das System ignoriert die cfg.ini auf dem Stick.
Vielleicht liegt es ja UEFI Bios des Mainboards aber ich habe leider nicht Anderes zum probieren.
Der Stick wird jedenfalls im Setup korrekt eingebunden denn die Log-Datei kann ich sehr wohl daruf abspeichern.

Hat jemand vielleicht noch den entscheidenden Hinweis? Ich habe wirklich keine Lust 160GB (bei fünf RAID-Platten macht das satte 800GB) für die Systempartition zu verschwenden.

Wenn es tatsächlich im UEFI Modus bootet, sollte es auch eine Einstellung geben, dass der Rechner in einem BIOS-kompatiblem Modus starten soll.
Hast du USB-Stick auch an einem USB 2.0 Anschluss angeschlossen.
Generell könnte es aber auch Sinn machen, dass du mal angibst, welche Hardware du überhaupt verwendest.
