danke für den Hinweis. Aber dieses Thema hab sogar ich schon gelesen und getreu nach Anleitung gehandelt.
Heute zur Abwechslung ist die Kiste mal die ganze Nacht gelaufen.
Öfter mal was neues.

Habe alles durchgearbeitet mit der neuesten Version (NW Adapter, Grafik) das Teil fährt sofort wieder hoch?

Da hat er mal 7 Minuten geschlafen.
Schwer zu sagen, was das ist.

Also nochmals die wichtigen Punkte:
- NIC steht sicher auf "Nur Arbeitsstation dürfen..."?
- SB Core (sbscrexe) ist definit deaktiviert?

Wenn du den Ruhezustand manuell auslöst und dann das Netzwerkkabel am Server abziehst, was passiert dann?

Hatte das SB Core deaktiviert (ehrlich) nun lief es wieder wohl was falsch gemacht da. Nun hab ich es genau nach Anleitung nochmals gemacht. Und ER SCHLÄFT seit 10 Min :D Ich hoffe ich habs geschafft.

Und es scheint zu klappen ist genau zur geplanten Zeit wieder aufgewacht. Nun soll er mal die Nacht durchschlafen, dann noch euer ge**es Backup Add-in und ich bin wunschlos glücklich.

Hi legi & Martin,

muss mich für legi einsetzen.
Ich habe zwischenzeitlich diesem "SB-Laden" dreimal nach PDF-Anleitung den Kragen rumgedreht.
Da er sich zwischenzeitlich bereits zweimal selbst reanimiert hat.
Wie bekomme ich den ganz, ganz tot. Von mir aus auch "am Tötesten".

also ich bin auch noch dran herauszufinden warum mein WHS nicht durchschläft :'(
Gehe mal alle Punkte durch...

Ich habe den SBCore Service nach dieser Anleitung deaktiviert und zwar erfolgreich!

@Siggi,

hier hat User Webwolf eine deutsche Erklärung hinterlegt:

Wichtig ist, dass die sbscrexe nur angehalten (suspended) wird, dann die Rechte für Administrator hinzugefügt werden. Hier ist es nach meiner Erfahrung wichtig, die Rechte für untergeordnete Objekte zu überschreiben. Dann Start auf 4 setzen. Jetzt erst die sbscrexe ganz killen. Wenn dann kein Neustart kommt ist der Dienst erfolgreich deaktiviert.

naja nachdem mir Englisch nicht so fremd ist *g*

Zusätzlich habe ich die sbscrexe.exe Rechtelos auf dem System zurückgelassen ;)
So könnte auch wenn das System wollte die exe nicht mehr starten!

Hallo zusammen,

@ Martin
ich komme leider mit meinen Mitteln nicht weiter.
LightsOut arbeitet sauber, allerdings sobald der letzte Client Heia geht, wurschtelt er alle 10min rum.
Ich sehe dann halt jeden Tag einen riesigen Zebrastreifen. (10min)
Es laufen keine neuen Proggies, sondern nur die wenigen, unter denen er auch frueher sauber gelaufen ist.
Ich hab nochmals Deine Anleitung abgearbeitet, keinen Fehler gefunden und bin somit ratlos.
Hab nur noch eine Erklaerung. Vor einigen Tagen habe ich einen Freund erwischt, der meine Abwesenheit auf dem WC mal genutzt hat, um meine Dienste auf Vordermann zu bringen.
Nun meine FRage: Gibt es gewisse Dienste, die toedlich fuer Dein Tool sind.

Grundsätzlich können das nur nachträglich installierte Programme/Dienste sein, die den Standby verhindern.
Die Windows eignen sind ok.

Versuch mal diese Programme zu identifizieren und ggf. zu deinstallieren. Dann als Test einen Standby händisch auslösen.
Wenn der 30 Minuten überlebt hast du wahrscheinlich den Schuldigen gefunden.

Hallo Martin,

danke fuer den Tip "haendisch Standba ausloesen".
Stelle gerade fest, dass mir das Auswahlmenue kein Standby anbietet. Nur Admin abmelden, Herunterfahren, Neu starten und Trennen.
Nun duerfe ich einiges kapieren, nur wo bekomme ich das Standby und den Ruhezustand her ??? In den Energieoptionen habe ich auch nicht mehr wie oben gefunden.
Is mer ooch noch nich passiert!
Weisst Du, bzw andere Teilnehmer, Rat u. Hilfe ??

mann oh mann, auf das Einfachste kommt man nur mit fremder Hilfe. Vielen Dank
Das Prob hatte ich noch nie, da stets nVidia AGP-Karten. Da hatte ich fuer uns alle immer den aktuellsten Treiber da.
Diesmal dachte ich, beim Server brauche ich keine hochwertige Karte und habe nur den ATI Chip onboard genutzt.
Mein MSI Onlineupdate hat nun alles auf Vordermann gebracht, nur den ATI-Treiber nicht.
Nach dessen manueller Installation sieht die Welt schon anders aus. StandBy ist da.
Sollte also heute Nacht klappen.
Wenn jetzt noch Alex sein AddIn wieder "auf den Markt" wirft, waere ich fast wunschlos gluecklich.

Muss Dich nochmals angehen. Jetzt läuft alles fast zu gut. Der Server geht schön schlafen, nachdem Ruhe ist. Wacht allerdings erst zu eingestellten Sicherungszeit auf. Den Client meines Sohnes, der zur Zeit die Kiste immer gegen 14.00 Uhr einschaltet, ignoriert er völlig.
Woran könnte es fehlen ?
