WHS Konsole stürzt ab, wenn ich "Einstellungen" öffne

Hallo Leute !

Folgendes mir nicht erklärbares Problem:

Wenn ich (egal ob auf dem Server oder einem Client (XP,Win7)) in der Konsole auf "Einstellungen" gehe, stürzt die ganze Konsole ab.

Ist das irgendwie bekannt, oder so ? Habe leide nichts dazu gefunden...
Ist schon seit einigen Wochen. Ich kann leider nicht sagen, ob es nach einem bestimmten Update war, da ich ja nicht nach jedem Update alles test ;)

Über guten Rat wäre ich sehr dankbar ! :)

Wie du die Konsole aufrufst ist egal, es ist immer eine Task auf dem WHS.

Schau bitte mal in den Konsol-LogFile auf dem WHS ob du dort einen Hinweis findest. Wenn nicht kannst du den File auch hier posten

Die Logfiles findest du wenn du dich mit RDP auf dem WHS anmeldest unter %qlogs%

das wäre die komplette log für die konsole... ich hab auch nochmal im eventviewer geschaut, und da nen fehler bzgl. .NET entdeckt. Dann habe ich mal alle 3.x Versionen von .NET deinstalliert und neu installiert... leider ohne erfolg..

2 Auffälligkeiten ...

1. der Fehler kommt von .Net 2, da helfen Neu-Installationen von 3.x nicht ... hast du mal unter Microsoft-Update geschaut ob es was für 2.x gibt ? Soweit ich weiß, arbeitet der WHS sowieso nur mit 2.x

2. Welche Add-Ins hast du denn installiert ? Schmeiß mal das Toolkit raus (welches ist denn Installiert 1.0 oder 1.1)

na super... ich raster hier gleich aus.......

ich hab jetzt mal alle .net sachen deinstalliert und danach wieder installiert.... jetzt funktioniert allerdings die konsole GAR NICHT MEHR ! also weder am client noch auf dem server selbst.... wenn ich bei den logs oder im eventviewer schaue, so kommt KEINE meldung, kein neues log, oder sonst was... wenn ich im Taskmanager schaue, dann kommt der prozess kurz hoch und verschwindet dann wieder...


achso: alle addons sind runter !

I NEED HELP PLEASE !!

kann mich schwach erinnern, dass es eine Empfehlunhg von MS gibt nach einer Neuinstallation von Net x auch das Net x+1 und Net x+2 neu zu installieren :( und immer schön danach mit Microsoft-Upadate prüfen ob es nicht Patche dafür gibt ...

es gibt wohl auch noch ein Tool mit dem man alles auf "Null" zurücksetzen kann und dann von vorne anfangen kann (muss) .. (und wenn es so etrwas gibt, gibt es wohl auch einen Grund dafür :cry: )

Edith fragt: wenn ich dein post noch einmal lese ... hast du schon alle .Net Versionen neu installiert ??? Gab es da nicht irgendeinen WHS-Patch der noch drüber musste ??

ich habe alle .net sachen wieder installiert (nur eben .net 1 bzw. versionen vor .net 2.0 hatte ich und hab ich gar nicht ?!)

wo bekomme ich denn dieses reset-tool her, bzw wie könnte das denn heißen ?

mittlerweile geht zumindest wieder die konsole auf dem whs selbst auf, allerdings mit dem alten prob, dass es abstürzt, sobald man die einstellungen öffnet..

windows update hab ich ohne hin auf automatisch gestellt und dazu aber auch noch bei windows-update auf der website den check gemacht. im moment sind keine weiteren updates verfügbar.

bin hier im moment auf der arbeit, sodass ich nicht so viel ausprobieren kann.

Bei Automatisch kann es aber eine Zeit dauern bis notwendige Updates automatisch gefunden werden ... und ich bin mir auch nicht sicher ob alle .Net-Updates in der "automatisch" Version des expliziten Aufrufes gefunden werden :?:

Wie hast du denn die Add-Ins deinstalliert ? Welche DLL stehen denn noch im Verzeichnis und was ist in der Registry noch eingetragen ... sitze z.Zt. auch nicht am WHS und kann dir heute Abend sagen wo du genau schauen musst.

Ich hatte das gleiche Problem. Und eben hab ich das Toolkit deinstallieren wollen und gesehen, dass es 2x installiert war. Beide male die version 1.1

Nur eins davon hatte so ein anderes Symbol...

Aber nun kann ich wieder auf Settings klicken! :-)

gut gut.. ich hab jetzt noch mal alle .net sachen deinstalliert und warte mal drauf, dass windows update alle benötigten sachen mit der zeit wieder installiert.. mal sehen, obs dann wieder geht...

--> was is denn jetzt mit diesem tool zum resetten ?

okay wunderbar ! vielen dank... mir bringts nur leider selbst nich viel, bei google ".net reset tool" einzugeben ^^

was anderes:

.net 1.0 sollte ich ja installieren, wie du oben gesagt hast... in win server 2003 ist aber .net 1.1 schon enthalten... ausserdem weiss ich nicht, wo ich 1.0 herbekommen soll... bei ms finde ich es nicht..

was willst du uns damit sagen ? mir bringt es auch nicht viel nach Sachen zu suchen die ich selbst nicht brauche nur weil andere nicht in der Lage sind selbst zu suchen :cry:

was ich damit sagen wollte ist, dass ich ja nicht weiss, was ich eingeben soll, wenn ich nich mal annähernd weiss, wie das tool heisst, oder was es im detail macht..

und .net 1.0 hab ich jetzt auch gefunden, nur war meine frage, ob das nicht eig. in 1.1 integriert ist, welches sich ja ausserdem gar nicht installen lässt, da es ohnehin schon in win server 2003 integriert ist... ?!

hab jetzt jedenfalls ma das cleanertool drüber laufen lassen, und alle .net sachen installiert... von 1.0 bis 3.5 inkl aller SPs... leider ohne erfolg.. die konsole an den clients geht immer noch nich auf, nur die aufm server, und das error log erweitert sich gar nich...
weiss nich, was ich noch machen soll mit dem mist da... :(
