Power Pack 1: Backup von SYS (C:) doch möglich?

Hi @all!

Ich bin gerade beim schmökern im feindlichen Forums-Territorium (->WeGotServed) über eine Antwort von Steve Lindsay zu obiger Frage gestolpert: http://www.wegotserved.co.uk/forums/ind ... ost&p=5854

Check out "Step 11", it doesn't specifically say it, but the reason your server appears in the "computers and backup" tab is because the system can be backed up so you can theoretically restore the system and save all your settings and info. Wish I had this a week ago when I broke my website.

Sorry yep I should have highlighted it more, one of the features is the ability to backup the actual home server itself (meaning the sys drive).

Ich habe es zuerst auch nicht glauben können (hab ja selbst schon anderen gesagt, dass das mit PP1 nicht geht), aber da Steve bei Microsoft arbeitet, kann man seiner Aussage vertrauen, denke ich.

Das ist eine interessante Neuigkeit und ein Grund mehr das Power Pack 1 so schnell wie möglich zu veröffentlichen

Hmm, nachdem meine Frage nach Klarstellung noch nicht beantwortet wurde, bin ich etwas mißtrauisch geworden
Naja, wir werden es dann eh sehen, wenn das PP1 verfügbar ist....

*edit* Wie ich erwartet hatte, hatte sich Steve nur etwas unverständlich ausgedrückt, es wird auch mit PP1 nicht möglich sein, SYSTEM C: zu backupen.
