EDIT: Ob das mal kein Fehler war... warte jetzt schon mehr als 10 Minuten, dass er wieder hoch kommt. Habe leider gerade keinen Monitor dran Drückt mir mal die Daumen hier mal zwischenzeitlich der originale englische KB-Eintrag. Die deutsche maschinelle Übersetzung ist grausam.

Major issues that are resolved by this update
Issue 1
You cannot register a Remote Web Access domain name that contains two or more root domain levels (such as testuser.com.uk). Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
The domain name is not valid
This domain name is invalid. Ensure that the domain name and the extension are correct, and then try again.
Issue 2
In the Alert Viewer window, you select an alert, and then you click Ignore the alert to stop receiving notifications for this alert. However, the notifications still appear.
Issue 3
The Client Deployment Wizard fails with an authentication failure if one of the following conditions is true:
The server password contains a backslash and a double quotation mark (\").
The server password ends with a backslash (\).
The server password contains a double quotation mark (") but does not end with a double quotation mark.
Note This issue occurs only on client computers that are running the following operating systems:
Windows XP Professional
Windows Vista Business
Windows Vista Enterprise

Issue 4
When the server and the clients are in an OpenDNS network environment, you cannot connect to the server or the clients through the Remote Web Access webpage. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Remote Desktop can't find the computer <name>.
Issue 5
Consider the following scenario:
You have a server that is running Windows Home Server 2011.
You change the current system time to a time that is earlier than the time that you installed Windows Home Server 2011.
You restart the server.
You change the system time back to the original setting.
In this scenario, the machine certificate becomes invalid and cannot be recovered. Additionally, most of the Windows Server services do not start after the server restarts.
Issue 6
When the machine certificate is changed incorrectly or is removed, you are not prompted by any troubleshooting measures. After you install this update, an automatic process tries to resolve this issue. If this issue cannot be resolved automatically, the dialog box gives you a link to a troubleshooting website. The website provides the latest solutions and updates for the kind of issue that you are experiencing.
Issue 7
A backslash (\) may be displayed incorrectly in Korean or Japanese content.
Issue 8
"Connect site" is translated incorrectly in a non-English dashboard.
Issue 9
Some important non-English instructions or guides are truncated in a non-English dashboard or wizard.

Edit2: ich will jetzt niemanden verunsichern, das mag auch an meiner Kiste hier liegen oder einfach nur ein dummer Zufall. Vielleicht ist es ihm heute einfach nur zu heiß. Habe jetzt nach einer halben Stunde eine Monitor angeschlossen.
Direkt nach dem BIOS kommt die Fehlermeldung: (also noch im "DOS-Modus")

Habe gestern noch Serversicherung durchgeführt weiß aber noch nicht, ob ich da heute noch dazu komme, das zu fixen. Wenn man auch immer gleich das neueste haben will Ich lass ihn jetzt erst mal abkühlen. Meine Freundin hat gerade die Nudeln auf den Tisch gestellt.

Edit3: Nach den guten Nudeln, ist er jetzt brav hochgefahren!!!! Wahrscheinlich war ihm wirklich zu warm. Der ist heute den ganzen Tag durchgelaufen. Macht mich aber nicht zuversichtlich bezüglich meiner Samsung F4-Systemplatte, da ist mir ja letztens schon eine abgeraucht.

Moin Franky,

ich habe das Rollup 1 auch gerade installiert. Null Probleme. Lediglich der obligatorische Neustart dauerte ein paar Minuten länger.
Auf den Clients wird anschließend der Connector aktualisiert. Abschließend ist ein Neustart des Client erforderlich.
Ich mag mich irren, aber irgendwie kommt mir der WHS nach dem Update schneller und flüssiger vor.

ja, ich glaube auch, dass es ein Zusammentreffen unglücklicher Umstände war. Mir ist ja schließlich heute auch viel zu warm (Bayern)

War anfangs etwas irritiert, Dasboard geht, Client wird nicht als aktiv angezeigt, http//server/connect geht nicht.
Aber wie gesagt, nach ein paar Minuten kommt auf dem Client die Meldung das der Connector aktualisiert wird.... (bis dahin zeigt auch LO "Server nicht aktiv)

Der maschinellen Übersetzung von MS konnte ich nach 4 Bier und 4 Rammazottie hier auf der Terasse unterm Dach bei bei knapp 30°C auch nicht mehr folgen ...

Erst nach einem Reboot des Clients hat der Connecter sich updaten wollen. Bis dahin ging auch das Lights-Out Plugin nicht mehr, so dass der Server ständig in den Standby ging.

- seit dem Updaterollup kann ich jetzt endlich meine Webseite als xxx.homeserver.com vom lokalen LAN aufrufen, vorher ging es nur über die IP
- In Chrome ist die Webseite halb englisch und halb deutsch, obwohl "deutsch" beim Login gewählt wurde (im IE9 ist alles deutsch). War das schon immer so? MIt Chrome konnte ich jetzt den Silverlight-Player für Musik verwenden. Weiß auch nicht, ob das vorher schon ging.

Nur mal zur Info:

Ich habe das Update Rollup 1 nun auch auf meinen VM´s und auf meinem produktiv laufendem WHS 2011 installiert.
Alles lief völlig problemlos. Lediglich die Zeit bis zur Aktualisierung der Connector Software der Clients hat recht lange gedauert. Die Installation dort war dann ebenfalls problemlos.
