How to install QNAP as a client?

Hi All,

Are there step by step on how to install my QNAP box as a client (rather than as a server), as I would like to be able to control it from my desktop PC running as the lights-out server. Sorry if this has been answered before, but I could not find it in the documentation and am not a software dev.

No, currently there's no client package to control a NAS. You're the first one who asked for that.
I've put it on the wish list for version 4.
