Having recently re-installed my WHS 2011 I would like to install "lightsout" addin on my Server. Bit puzzled by the .exe file available as the "lightsout" download for WHS, ie not a wmxx addin file, but tried to run this from the dashboard (within the server I though) as the instructions suggested. However it just installs on the client computer Windows 10 as if that's the server. I am I missing something here or do I need to run the download from the Server with no clients connected perhaps?

Please uninstall it from your W10 machine. Then use remote desktop to connect to your server. Install Lights-Out there. After that, you can use the Dashboard to manage the server and Lights-Out.
