KB979453 crasht meine Konsole - wer kann helfen?

Hilfe!!!!!!!
Nach diesem Update geht gar nichts mehr!!!!
Zunächst habe ich eine "Webseiten-Fehlermeldung" bekommen und bin über den Remotedesktop in die Konsole gegangen, habe dort die Live Domain neu konfiguriert (ohne Probleme) und dann die Konsole wieder geschlossen.

Urplötzlich aber wurde jetzt das Icon in der Taskleiste gelb und behauptete, daß was nicht stimmt. Doppelklicke ich drauf, öffnet sich zwar der Login-Dialog zu Konsole, die aber behauptet, sie könne keine Verbindung mit dem Heimserver aufnehmen. Die Konsole ist also vom Laptop aus nicht zu bedienen!

Login per Remotedesktop geht, und die Konsole läßt sich dort starten, crasht aber, wenn ich auf "Einstellungen" gehe mit folgender Fehlermeldung:

Klicke ich auf das Netzwerkicon in der Konsole, dann lautet die gelbe Fehlermeldung: "Beim Überprüfen der Anschlußweiterleitung für den Router ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Die Anschlußweiterleitung auf dem Router arbeitet vermutlich nicht ordnungsgemäß. Möglicherweise ist Ihre Webseite im Internet nicht verfügbar"
Klicke ich dort auf den Button "Details", dann crasht die Konsole.

So, und nun? Das WHS selbst läuft, aber ich komme nicht mehr in die Einstellungen, weil das wieder die Konsole crasht. Und vom Laptop aus komme ich gar nicht drauf.

Ich habe dann mal versucht, dieses Update KB 979453 zu deinstallieren, aber das hat nichts geholfen....

Wißt Ihr, was ich machen soll?

Hi!
Hast du auch mal versucht das Update nach dem deinstallieren neu zu installieren?
Die Meldung system.io.directorynotfound im Crashdialog deutet darauf hin dass ein Verzeichnis nicht existiert bzw. gelöscht wurde, möglicherweise wird es beim nochmaligen installieren des Updates wieder erstellt.

Das mit dem erneut installieren des Updates habe ich versucht, hat aber nichts geholfen...

aalso, ich poste mal die Logs, die erstellt werden (das Update ist derzeit deinstalliert). Ich bin über den Remote-Desktop auf's WHS, habe dort die Konsole gestartet und es werden zwei Logs erstellt: ein Homeserver.xxxxxx.log und ein Additions.xxxxxxx.log. Als erstes die Logs, wenn ich bei den Fehlerwarnungen in der Konsole auf "Details" klicke und damit die Konsole Crashe.

Das angemahnte, weil fehlende Verzeichnis "C:\inetpub" und die weiteren angemahnten Unterverzeichnisse sind nicht auf meinem WHS (btw.: Es ist ein ACER H340 - also vielleicht ist das ja ein Verzeichnis, das auf allen ACERS die gleichen Daten hat, und das man zippen und mir zukommen lassen könnte, dann extrahiere ich das mal und schaue, was passiert???)

JETZT INSTALLIERE ICH DAS UPDATE und bekomme u.a. ein Portforwarding Log, bei dem wieder das Verzeichnis c:\inetpub moniert wird
Im ersten Teil des Logs aus der Nacht finde ich ellenlange Port-Fehler-Listen, ein TEil davon sieht so aus, danach poste ich den Teil, der heute morgen entstand

Ich hoffe, Ihr verzeiht mir das Posten dieser unendlich langen Logs - aber vielleicht hilft's ja was....
Und was das fehlende Verzeichnis C:\Inetpub und dessen Unterverzeichnisse angeht, nochmal der Hinweis auf die Idee, daß dieses Verzeichnis vielleicht bei allen ACER H340 oder gar allen WHSen gleich ist, und mir das vielleicht jemand zippen kann, um es dann bei mir auf den Server zu packen und so vielleicht weiterzukommen?

Das ist ja sehr interessant. Das Verzeichnis C:\inetpub beinhaltet die Dateien für die Remote-Webseite, das darf auf keinen Fall fehlen!
Kann mir ehrlich gesagt schwer vorstellen, dass das Update das komplette Verzeichnis gelöscht hat... :shock:

Das Verzeichnis sollte auf allen Acer-Servern gleich sein, die Frage ist nur, ob es was bringt es dir zu schicken, da die Webseite auch im IIS (Internet Information Service) richtig konfiguriert sein muss.
Starte am Server mal inetmgr.exe (Start->Ausführen) und schau unter Websites nach was dort vorhanden ist.

ich denke, es kommt auf den Versuch an, schaden kann's nix.
Ich denke mir, daß vor dem Update alles noch da war, da das WHS ja nicht gemeckert hat, und ich auch Problemlos in die Einstellung kam, als die Neukonfiguration der "Webseite" anstand. Auch gab's bis zum Update und der Neukonfiguration des Remotezugriffs ja auch keine Crashes...
In den Logs vor dem update kann ich auch keine Fehlermeldungen über ein Fehlen von c:\inetpub finden.
Also, wäre super, wenn ich dieses Verzeichnis mal gezippt bekommen könnten. Ich schick' Dir mal per PN meine Emailadresse - oder Du mir per PN einen downloadlink, falls Du's irgendwo hochladen kannst...

Hallo

ich habe jetzt mal den Rat von Alex befolgt:

auf C:\WHS dort sollten einige Dateien liegen.
Führe nacheinander die folgenden aus:

x umrabase.exe
x umrahome.exe
x umraremote.exe

Bei base und home kam die Meldung, daß das schon installiert sei, remote hat er einiges entpackt, es kam aber eine Fehlermeldung ohne Fehlertext (einfach eine graue Box).
Dann hat Alex mit freundlicherweise sein Inetpub gemailt (auch wenn's nicht von Acer ist). Das habe ich entpackt und den ACer neu gestartet. Das Trayicon für's WHS war grün, ich konnte auf die WHS Konsole vom Laptop aus zugreifen ohne Fehlermeldungen, auch das Logon klappte und der Klick auf Eigenschaften crashte die Konsole nicht mehr.
Gleiches ging auch vom Remote-Desktop aus.
Ein Fehler allerdings kam noch ich konnte (obwohl die Konfiguation stimmte) nicht auf die Remote-Webseite zugreifen. Bzw. die Startseite kam noch, aber beim Klick auf Anmelden kamen Fehlermeldungen, die "nicht angezeigt werden, weil Sie aus dem Internet darauf zugreifen", lokal auf dem Server würde es gehen.
Ich habe dann die 3 umra-exe-Dateien mit einem 7zip entpackt und manuell alle dort erstellten Dateien in die diversen Ordner unter c:\inetpub kopiert und die dortigen Dateien überschrieben (war ganz schön aufwändig, das alles zu finden). Jetzt scheint's auch vom Netz aus zu gehen mit dem Logon - sieht zwar alles anders aus als bei ACER, aber solange das WHS nicht meckert.....

So, nun hoffe ich, daß das alles so sauber weitergeht wie gerade eben. Falls jemand tatsächlich noch das originale ACER- c:\inetpub zippen und mir zukommen lassen kann, wäre das vielleicht der sicherste Weg, den Originalzustand wiederherzustellen.

P.S.: eins geht nun doch nicht - behauptet jedenfalls die Konsole in den Einstellungen unter "Remotezugriff" - da steht "Remotzugriff nicht verfügbar" - komisch nur, daß ich über den Remotezugriff und die REmotewebseite auf der Konsole bin.... ;-) Seltsam, oder? Hab's schon deaktiviert, reaktiviert, den Domainnamen freigegeben und wieder neu angemeldet, dann "reparieren" geklickt mit dem Ergebnis

Router gemäß UPNP konfigurieren - ok
Remotewebsite vom Internet aufrufen - geht angeblich nicht (mmmh, warum komm ich dann über die Remotewebseite drauf????)
