Hi,

for whatever reason, my workstation does not enter "Energy Save" mode anymore after the backup in the morning. I have scheduled my backups to kick off at 6 am in the morning (incl. the Server itself) and when I get back home in the evening, the Workstation is still idling waiting for someone to unlock / log in.

A few weeks before this was working just fine. Might be conflicts or anything with other (new) software, but I wonder what I could do to try and track down the issue and fix it.

This is the licensed version of LO 3, running 3.0.1.4433 on all systems

If I can share any debug logs, event logs or such, please let me know.

If you have not already done, please reboot the machine (do not shutdown and start, do a restart). If that does not help, the please attach the client log files.
Simply zip the whole folder c:\programdata\LightsOut2Client\Logs (via right click, send to compressed folder) and attach the archive to the ticket.
If you do not see a folder c:\programdata, then open explorer options and enable "show hidden files and folders".

Laut Log ist das Problem, dass kein Backupprovider ausgewählt ist. Wurde der Rechner auf Windows 1903 aktualisiert? Dann hat der Upgrade den WHS/Essentials Connector beschädigt. Zur Lösung entweder den Connector entfernen und dann neu installieren oder diesen Fix anwenden: https://sbsland.me/2019/05/24/windows-1 ... ector-fix/
Danach in der Lights-Out Konsole den Rechner doppelklicken und im Tab Backup den Provider neu suchen und setzen.

Das hat geholfen, vielen Dank! Ist mir bei meinen Recherchen gar nicht aufgefallen, dass da der Backup Provider gefehlt hat. Jetzt muss ich nur noch herausfinden, welches andere Gerät oder Timer die Workstation nachts aufwachen lässt, aber das hat ja nichts mit LO zu tun.
