No successful backup since patch Tuesday with WHS 2011

I have not had a successful backup since installing Microsoft's November patches.
I don't think this is specific to Lights-Out but I can't find any other WHS2011 English language forum that is still active in order to ask a question.

I imagine if I am having problems, other Lights-Out users must be having similar issues.

If this is not the right place, can you point me to an active forum where I can get some help with this?

Can you run a backup manually?
Have you rebooted server and clients?

No, manual backups fail the same way.
I have rebooted server and client several times.

What error message do you see in Dashboard?

It says "An unknown error prevented backup from completing successfully".
The failure happens almost immediately after starting a backup.

I did a little more googling and it looks like it's fixed. It turns out the timing with patch Tuesday may have been a coincidence. There was a orrupted file in the ESP partition - which I had neve heard of before, but I followed the instructions here and it seems to be working now.
