Windows 10 - Unable to connect to remote server

Apologies, I'm sure this has been asked many times. I get the error when trying to login - "An error occurred while sending the request: Unable to connect to the remote server". It seems to work once after a fresh install and reboot, but subsequently I get the error.

Where should I look to fix this..?

Kind regards

Simon

Simon, is this happening on the server (local console) or from a client (remote console)?

Both Martin...

Also, in the status line at the bottom of the console window (on the server) it says "Connection lost, trying to reconnect".

Simon, have you skipped the step to create SSL certificates? If yes, please run the SSL wizard again and create certificates: https://www.green-it-software.com/5275/ ... an-access/

Martin, I've run it manually 3 or 4 times. No difference. I've tried to attach a client, but it doesn't find the server.

Should the server be running the webserver service..? I cant see anything running.

Sadly still not working, I feel I have missed something really simple but don't know what...;-(

Simon, please open a ticket here https://www.green-it-software.com/osticket/
and attach your server logs. Simply zip the whole folder c:\programdata\LightsOut2\Logs (via right click, send to compressed folder) and attach the archive to the ticket. If you do not see a folder c:\programdata, then open explorer options and enable "show hidden files and folders".
