hallo,
ich will whs 2011 auf meine 64gb crucial m4 installieren.
dazu habe ich eine cfg.ini datei mit
Code: Alles auswählen
[WinPE]
InstallSKU=SERVERHOMEPREMIUM
ConfigDisk=1
CheckReqs=0
WindowsPartitionSize=MAX
erstellt und auf einen usb stick geschoben.
trotzdem bricht das setup ab.
ich habe schon alles versucht, stundenlang im netzt gesucht, ich hoffe hier wird mir geholfen!
restsystem ist: zotac 775 itx / intel xeon 3065 / 4GB RAM / 2TB WD Green Caviar / Pico PSU

Nach dem Installationsversuch sollte die Möglichkeit bestehen das Logfile zu speichern. Dieses könntest du hier als Dateianhang einfügen.

Die cfg.ini sollte nicht das Problem sein. Diese wird erkannt.
Laufen die SATA Anschlüsse im AHCI Modus?
Besteht eine Internetverbindung?

ja alles im ahci modus, wegen der ssd.
der pc is gerade mit nem lan kabel verbunden. und wlan ist auch verfügbar.

Dann solltest du mal WLAN im Bios deaktivieren.
Falls du via DVD installieren willst, könntest du alternativ mal einen Bootfähigen USB Stick zur Installation versuchen.

hallo,
da ich keine option zur wlan deaktivierung im bios habe, soll ich die wlan karte ausbauen? ist keine onboard, sondern ne kleine erweiterungskarte.
und ich installiere schon von einem usb stick. einer mit dem whs image und ein zweiter mit der cfg.ini datei.

Dann würde ich die WLAN Karte wirklich mal testweise ausbauen.
Mit den USB Sticks könntest du auch mal einen anderen Port probieren. Falls vorhanden könntest du auch das Installationsmedium mal auf einem anderen USB Stick testen.
Ist die SSD unformatiert? Ggf. könntest du diese mal mit diskpart und clean löschen.

hallo,
ich habe schon mehre ports versucht. kein erfolg.
habe die wlan karte nun nicht ausgebaut, sondern nur den usb stecker gezogen, kommt aufs gleiche. gleicher fehler wie vorhin...
sdd habe ich schon heute mehrmals gelöscht, und/oder formatiert und immer wieder probiert - keine chance
auch habe ich einen anderen usb stick mit der cgf.ini versucht. das hat genau soviel gebracht, wie die datei auf den selben usb stick mit dem image drauf tun - nämlich gar nichts!
ausserdem habe ich auch die ini datei auf die ssd geschoben, habe das irgendwo heute mal gelesen, dass einer damit erfolg hatte. bei mir gings nicht.
das image kann ich leider auf keinen anderen usb stick drauf machen, wegen der grösse.
ps:
natürlich habe ich nach jedem fehlverschuch die zeile aus der cfg.ini gelöscht, welche ja immer nach dem scheitern neu angelegt wird. return irgendwas..

As soon as you are greeted with the screen asking if you want a new install or to repair a previous one push Shift + F10 to bring up cmd.
Type "notepad.exe" without quotes then click file open and browse to sources/SKU/SERVERHOMEPREMIUM.def (you may have to select all files at the bottom so you can see the .def file).
From inside here you can change your amount of ram, number of cpu cores, HDD space, and processor speed to suit your needs. Save and close notepad.
Type "wpshell.exe" without quotes and hit enter => setup will restart with the new parameters.
das habe ich auch irgendwo aufgeschnappt, klappt bei mir auch nicht1

Wenn du keinen anderen USB Stick hast, könntest du evtl. auch mal mit einem DVD-Laufwerk und dem Originaldatenträger versuchen. Es scheint leider nicht jeder USB-Stick zu funktionieren.
Des weiteren könnte es auch helfen, wenn du die Installation auf eine Festplatte durchführst und diese anschließend auf die SSD klonst.
Leider ist die Fehlermeldung "Win7 Setup Exited with 31" nicht ganz eindeutig.
Im Netz findet man hierzu die verschiedensten Probleme. Die meisten scheinen aber ich richtig Bootmedium, bzw. Zieldatenträger zu gehen.

wenn ich ich aber das dvd laufwerk anschliessen will, kann ich ich nicht den ahci modus verwenden. kann ich den nachträglich den ahci modus aktivieren? bei win7 ist das ja meiner erfahrung nach immer so ne sache mit dem nachträglich ändern...
klonen werde ich sicher nicht mache, da man das alignment der ssd danach ja auf jeden fall einstellen muss und es sicher irgendwo konflikte geben wird.

Bei Win7 ist das nachträgliche Ändern auf AHCI problemlos möglich. Da MS hier den Treiber bereits mit bringt, muss dieser nur über die registry aktiviert werden. Das gleiche geht auch beim WHS 2011.
Beim Klonen mit einer aktuellen Software sollte es keine Probleme mit dem Alignment geben.
Man kann hier aber auch die Serversicherung und -Wiederherstellung verwenden. Beim Wiederherstellen kann man vorab die Partitionen anlegen.

jetzt frag ich mich warum es per usb stick nicht ging? denn: per usb stick konnte ich auf meine hdd installieren...

soeben ist der pc bei 4% abgstürzt mit nem bluescreen. verdammt.
ich habe den sata controller auf ide umgestellt. dabei gibt es noch die einträge IDE DMA transfer acces und IDE Prefetch Mode. diese einträge aktivieren oder deaktivieren?

hallo,
ich habe whs 2011 jetzt einfach auf die hdd installiert (per usb stick) und werde die ssd doch nicht einbauen. da der server non stop läuft, ist es denke ich nicht so schlimm, keine ssd zu haben. (in allen anderen systemen setzte ich seit paar jahren auschliesslich auf ssds als sytemplatte, aber beim server sehe ich jetzt, wenn ich mal bessere überlege, keinen wirklichen bedarf
und es ging ja auch nicht, keine lust und zeit da noch mehr rumzuprobieren.
