Moin Zusammen,
ich nutze aktuell LightsOut2 auf meinem Win2012 Essentials Server (Homeserver).
Wenn ich die aktuelle LightsOut3 installieren möchte startet mein Dashboard nicht mehr
Habe auch schon den Server einmal durchgestartet, aber leider gleiches Ergebnis.
Solange ich das Dashboard nicht starten kann werde ich weiterhin die LightsOut2 Version benutzen, würde aber gerne Up2Date bleiben und auf Version 3 gehen.
Hatte auch mal jemand das Problem?

Hattest du evtl. wärend der Installation von V3 das Dasboard geöffnet?
Grundsätzlich wird bei jedem Start des Dashboards ein Logfile angelegt. Du könntest mal schauen, ob es hier detailiertere Angaben gibt, weshalb das Dashboard nicht startet.

Schau mal im Taskmanager ob ein Dashboard läuft.
Ansonsten lass mir mal die Logdatei zukommen (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Server\Logs\Dashboard.log).

Sorry, although I have selected the EN-forum, I still only get the DE-version.
I experience the same problem (WS 2012 E). At the end of the installation the dashboard would be started but it doesn't. Furthermore I have a valid (PRO) license but the Lights-Out 3 console reports an invalid license. I have reverted back to version 2.5.5.3952 and everything works fine again. Is it wise to supply the Dashboard.log since a have now reverted back to version 2?

you can't use a version 2 license with version 3 unless you still have maintenance. I need your order number or order email to check that. Either open a ticket or send an email to orders@green-it-software.com.
The issue with the Dashboard is currently unknown. It sometimes fails to start immediately after installation. Log off and log in again will fix this.
Should it still not start, then please attach your server logs. Simply zip the whole folder c:\programdata\LightsOut3\Logs (via right click, send to compressed folder) and send the archive via email to support@green-it-software.com. If you do not see a folder c:\programdata, then open explorer options and enable "show hidden files and folders".

It now works fine for me after Martin helped me out.
Deleting the folder C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft_Corporation\Dashboard.exe_StrongName_mv4qebzkqx2s12o4pogt1dmskkl1yguo\6.2.0.0\ (or 6.3.0.0 when you are running WSE 2012 R2) did the trick (if needed replace "admin" with the administrator account you use standaard and first make a back-up).
