Hi.
running windows 7 ultimate on a HP proliant gen8 - > NAS

but I cant make our KODI player wake up the server with a WOL package etc, neither my can my pcs. ( though a asus N16 router with standard firmware)

will this software: Lights-Out 2.0

be able to control my home NAS, so it can wakeup/shutdown etc, also by using KODI as a WOL package transmitter.

I can't speak for Kodi but Lights-Out 2.0 works with a HP Gen 8.

You should first verify the network card settings on your HP Gen 8. It may be necessary to install HP network card drivers.

HP Gen 8 only supports hibernation, so wake-up is not very fast.

After installation you should wait at least 60s, then login should work.
What happes if you click on login button?

the logon animation continues for arround 5 minuttes, and then i stop.

and red text says: a task was canceled.

I have used hibernate and task manager in windows 7 until now to wake from hibernate.

Now i have installed windows 10 enterprise LTSB on my NAS.
using windows 10 taskmanager could not! wake the server up from hibernation.. so i started looking for solutions.. using your software again.

I can logon to the interface on the nas now, and also set calendar items to wake up from hibernation.

but it dosnt work. the server dont start up from hibernation...
