Hi all,

After running 8 years whs2011 did the move to w10 as a server.
I have problems with waking the server.

Whs 2011 perfectly worked with bios settings s3 state.

Now installed win10 on same rigg, didnt mess with bios settings,
Tried l.o. 3 en l.o. 2 same problem.

Goes to stand by but doesn t go on.

Did the powercfg -h on thing.

Am i forgetting something or didn t read something?

Regards from the Netherlands

Hi,

wake up from network (WOL) or wake up by timer (calendar). What you're talking about?

Hi Martin

Thanks for your repley.
It was the calander, but i managed
to solve it via your manual.

I overlooked the part about HPET enabled in the bios.
( was not needed with whs2011 and decidated vid card? )

My previous setup did change btw, due to vga issues,. I used onboard vga which resulted ( to enabele HPET ).

So the HPET setting is related some sort of vga sleep or not?

Regards Bas

HPET are the high precision timers. They are independent from support for standby.
If not already done, try to find the correct drivers for the onboard vga, the generic Microsoft drivers do not support standby otherwise.
