Hi Martin.
I currently have Lights Out 2 running on my WHS2011 server (ver. 2.5.4.3951 Professional Edition with Support and Maintenance.
Just curious; if I update to Lights Out 3 will I need to purchase a license for it?

If you have valid maintenance, no. That's one reason to have maintenance and support, you can always use the latest version.

I have Ver. 2 license, but the maintenance expired a couple of years ago.

1. Do I need a new license for Ver 3?
2. If so, and I don't buy a new license and it goes to the free edition, what will I lose?
