RemoteDesktop Problem mit KB2481109 : Das Sicherheitsupdate KB2481109 (vom 27.01.2011) lässt sich nicht installieren!
Wenden Sie folgende Methode an, um dieses Problem zu umgehen:
1. Deinstallieren Sie: Sicherheitsupdate KB956744 vom 01.07.2009
2. Anschließend können Sie das Sicherheitsupdate 2481109 erfolgreich installieren.

Der ISO Recorder läuft unter Windows XP und unter Windows Server 2003.

Kann ich mit dem Windows Home Server eigentlich auch brennen?
Die Frage stellte sich mir mal so nebenbei  für die neue Client- oder Connector-CD
Ist zwar nur teilweise Deutsch, aber für  DatenCd reicht das ja schon! Kost auch nix!
(Brennen ging bei mir unter Virtual Box beim Testen ja leider nicht.)
Dafür wird aber die ISO Datei beim Installieren der msi Datei entpackt.
Der Imapi- Brenndienst ist im richtigen WHS integriert, aber deaktiviert, stellte sich dabei heraus Also einschalten und das Tool testen!
Es ist kein Brenner im Windows Home Server dabei?
Warum sollte im WHS eigentlich kein Dvd- oder sogar Blue Ray- Brenner drin sein?
Mit z.B. Acronis True Image Direktsicherungen vom C: (Sys) auf ein RW- Medium
- nur 1x im Monat gemacht - erspart einem auch viel Arbeit im möglichen Ernstfall:
Was ist, wenn die System- Platte unvermittelt ausfällt und kein "RAID-Verbund" zur Verfügung steht?
Viel Spaß bei dem ganzen Neu einrichten und wieder anpassen!
Alternative: Eine günstige externe Festplatte - zum Sichern der Systempartition und der am allerwichtigsten persönlichen Daten. Es ist ja auch nur ein PC!

Das war es dann bis zum April und Mai 2011. Aktuell wie von vielen so oft schon gewünscht!
Mit einem installierten FreeDownloadmanager (FDM) kann man diese Links importieren und den Namen der Datei noch wie hier in der Liste richtig angeben. So müsste das ganze für euch ohne meine monatelange Herumsucherei ablaufen.
Die einzelnen Setup- Dateien müssen im Wurzelverzeichnis des späteren Updatepacks in den  Ordner "data", in dem sich auch die Settings.ini mit den Installationsangaben für den Update- Installer befindet. "c:\updatepack" ist hier nur der beispiel für einen Sammeldownload-Ordner.
Sind bei den Links auf den MS-Seiten komische Zwischenzeichen darin, dann ist %3a ein Doppelpunkt und %2f ein Slash bzw. Schrägstrich!
%2f%2f ist also ein //. Diese im Editior suchen und ersetzen lassen. Das ist dann der korrekte Sofort- Downloadlink!
